All Helicopter Approach/Departure Route Operations are Conducted in An Area from 135 Degrees Clockwise to 315 Degrees Using the Touchdown Pad As the Center of a Compass Rose. All Operations are Conducted in VFR Weather Conditions, and the Landing Area is Limited to Private Use. the Takeoff/Landing Area is Appropriately Marked. a Non-Obstructing Wind Indicator is Maintained Adjacent to the Takeoff/Landing Area. the Landing Area is Constructed in Accordance with FAA Advisory Circular (Ac) 150/5390-2B, Heliport Design. Once the Fato is Defined, a Site Review is Requested from the Orlando Airports District Office (Ado) Using the Attached Site Inspection Request Form. An Operational Letter of Agreement (Loa) is Entered Into Between the Owner and the North Perry Airport (Hwo) and the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport (Fll) Stating Operational Procedures Which Preclude Helicopter Operations from Interfering with Aircraft Traffic Pattern Operations at Those Airports. This Loa Should Consider, but is not Limited to, the Following: Ingress/Egress Routes for the Heliport, Common Frequency Monitoring, Published and Distributed Helicopter Operational Procedures to Airport Users, Etc. Helicopters Larger than Bell 407 Should not be Permitted. This is Due to the Size and Weight Limitation of the Helipad. Fire Protection be Provided in Accordance with Nfpa 418, the Local Fire Code and/or Ac 150/5390-2B, Heliport Design.
